...or too little, actually. I just have that song stuck in my head.

So, it's been roughly two months since I've updated my journal. That's pretty long. So, I figured I should tell you that I'm still alive. If I haven't commented on your journals and art and I usually do, it's 'cause I'm too busy... I have read the journals though. Just haven't commented on them.

Well, school is... time consuming. Very, very time consuming, and is beating the crap out of me. I've got a midterm on Thursday in American Lit and I have to write a five-page paper for my history and historians class by next Tuesday... the topic is "What is history to me?" and I have to have good sources to back my answer up. I've only given it a little bit of thought, but I think I'm going to talk about natural history in detail. I just think natural history is fascinating. Anyway, it doesn't sound like much but this is not including all of the reading I've had to do in the past three weeks. I think my eyes are going to fall out of my face.

Anyway... hmm... oh yeah, I went to a Styx/Kansas concert on Friday! It was AMAZING. There are seriously no words to describe its epicness. Hence why I have "Too Much Time on My Hands" stuck in my head. I've also never heard a more epic version of "Come Sail Away" IN MY LIFE.

Saturday was Homecoming. It was... incredibly embarrassing. We had them by one point going into the last minute and lost literally in that last minute. They scored with 45 seconds left and ended up winning by that one touchdown. You might remember a year ago I had like every journal gushing about how awesome our team was. We were 12-0 in regular season. Guess what we are now? 0-5. WAY TO GO COACH PARRISH. WE WANT HOKE BACK. YOU HAVEN'T WON A GAME AS HEAD COACH SINCE BEFORE I WAS BORN. Also it was pretty chilly outside. That didn't help.

Well, in other news, my mom filed divorce papers against my dad. It's interesting - I thought I was going to be devastated if my parents got a divorce, but... I'm actually kind of happy because my mom is finally happy. Mom gets to keep the house and Dad gets to keep paying for it. My older brother who came up from Oklahoma is working at Wal-Mart to help Mom out. Dad'll never get custody of my younger siblings, so I'm not too worried about that.

Finally, we had a fire alarm go off at 3:45 in the morning on Friday. We had to get out of bed and go outside, where it was pouring rain because none of us had the foresight to bring an umbrella, and we couldn't go back inside until almost quarter to five. I had class at 8AM, so I was VERY NOT HAPPY. I couldn't go back to sleep because I was soaked and pissed. Turns out, some guys on the second floor thought it would be groovy to empty the contents of a fire extinguisher all over the place and set off the alarm. WAY RAD GUYS.

I don't really have anything else to say aside from school being very time consuming, so I'll let you not have to read anything else.
