Because Haou Juudai has other things to do than waste his time on an NPC.

Plus, look at Haou's duel disk. It's a freaking buzz saw.

Yeah, so... it's really crappy Microsoft Paint art, but I don't care because I like it. I got really lazy, especially on Baou and Skull Knight, and the nameless villager is wearing the robes because EVERYONE in Dark World has those clothes. I do like how Haou turned out, though. No need telling me how much it sucks, art wise, since I already know, kthx.

LOL, Baou looks like a girl. He wouldn't if he didn't have that insane hairdo and that ridiculously feminine body. I think his expression in the first panel is my favorite.

Hopefully, you got the joke, but if you didn't, it's a duel. A literal duel. Like they have in those western movies where they say "Draw!" and shoot each other. Yeah, it's funny, trust me. Maybe.

'Zactly. The thing is a very dangerous weapon on its own. xD

And there's a pawn shop or a Goodwill somewhere in Dark World. That's the only explanation I can think of for EVERYONE having these robes all of a sudden.
